Dedicated to Unity and Excellence... Really?

If we, the students involved in the MSHS Marching Band were really following this model motto, then we would be giving it our all, every single day, rehearsal, performance, or anything. I can not say that I myself have given my every ounce of dedication to the band here in the past few days, and I am going to do my best to correct that. But as I do my part, others must do theirs, for if we do not, we will not prevail like we should. Why join in an organization if you don't plan to meet it's guidelines? If we just work harder, we can just kick back and enjoy the fruits of our labor when it is all over. What makes that fruit sweeter and more ripened? A good performance. What makes the performance superior? A good rehearsal. What makes a good rehearsal? When the band gives it all that it has every time. What makes the band give it all? WHEN YOU GIVE YOUR ABSOLUTE BEST!
